KuttorSlice Shaper
Kuttor captures what you play, cuts it into slices, and plays it back to you as tempo-synced arpeggios, stutters, reverse loops and scale-locked patterns. Hold one note and it writes a melody around it. Strum a chord and it dices it into a moving pad. However wild the result, it stays in time.

Take a loop apart and play it back new
Kuttor chops a captured loop into slices and plays them back in a new order, direction and pitch. The top bar is your loop; the lanes below are what comes out, with higher notes on higher lanes. Flip the switches and turn the knobs to hear it change.

Listen
Straight from the pedal. Headphones help on the stereo clip.
Multitracking a dicey Kuttor into a looper, then playing over it.
Reversing a quarter-note loop until it becomes a pad.
Reverse-looping chords with the momentary switch in free tempo.
Something surprising built from what was played.
Controls
The panel
Six knobs, three switches, two footswitches. Slice Length and Mix always do the same job; the four in between change roles with the Cycle mode, so each mode gets controls built for it.

- Pot 1
- Slice LengthLoop length in tempo-synced steps from 1/16 bar up to 4 bars.
- Pot 2
- Slice Division1 to 32 slices, or the arpeggio rate in Quasar (1/2 down to 1/32, with dotted and triplet options).
- Pot 3
- Slice PlaybackNormal, stutter, random or reverse slices, or the arpeggio pattern in Quasar.
- Pot 4
- Playback SpeedScale-quantized pitch: transposes the loop, sets the arpeggio's starting note, or sets how far Magnetar can scatter.
- Pot 5
- FeedbackFeedback and decay for loops that degrade over time, or note gate length from staccato to legato in Quasar.
- Pot 6
- MixDry to fully wet.
- Switch 1
- DirectionForward with slicing, a clean forward loop, or reverse with slicing.
- Switch 3
- TempoTap, free or MIDI clock. In MIDI mode, captures land on the bar and arpeggios lock to the clock.
- Left switch
- Momentary / RepeatHold to capture or repeat, release to let go. Hold both footswitches to tap tempo.
- Right switch
- LatchTurns loop capture and playback on or off.
Scale menu · Pot 4
Ten scales, always in key
Every slice lands on a note from the scale you pick, ordered from sparse to dense. The two LEDs show which one is active: the right LED names the family, the left picks the scale within it.
